ABBAS CALLS OUT CHIWAWA

For a while now Abbas and Chiwawa have been bossom buddies, boyz, peoples, ride or die bros, and any other name you can use to describe hip hop friendships, but this changed. Media reports claim that Abbas accuses Chiwawa for being instrumental at breaking up his marriage to rapper Baby Gangsta.
This claims, Chiwawa has rubbished. He hasn't cared to expound them on at all. All i know is that Chiwawa was the one who introduce Abbas to Baby Gangsta and he was the best man at their wedding.
With that backgroud you will probably understand whey Abbas put Chiwawa on blast today morning on his Facebook status update. He wrote: "That stupid ball-less puppy named "chiwawa" is gonna get the wrath of my lyrical blowz!!...tell that rabbid flea-bag im on to his neck!
This is not the first time Abbas having beef with another artiste, he nicknamed Jua Cali 'Solar Boy' for a number of reasons.

ABBAS ON ALBUM TOUR TO NAKURU

Kenyan rapper Abbas Kubaff will be hosting a launch tour in Nakuru for his latest album Mistar Abbas in this Saturday February 20.
Abbas promises to tear down the roof at Mama 2, he will be joined by and the Blaze entertainment DJ's will be on the decks spinning the hottest hip hop tracks.
Abbas is known for hit songs like Mo Faya, 2050 and Chapaa. Mistar Abbas follows the success of the first solo album Angabanga.
The sophomore album has hits like Get Down and A Million Rhymez both of which have been released.

WAHU REPLIES TO ABBAS’ DISS ON MTV MAMAs FAVOURING HER AND NAMELESS

Rapper Abbas has been spewing vitriol saying Nameless and Wahu were favoured by the just concluded MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain.
Abbas raised questions on why members of the same family got nominated and won awards two years running. This is not the first time the rapper has directed his hate at another artiste. Last year he ranted about Jua Cali performing on the same stage with rap maestro The Game, saying Jua Cali is no rapper.
Commenting on the attack, MAMA’s Best Female Artiste Wahu said, “We handed in our nominations like everyone else and I don’t know what MTV was looking for. It feels bad that a colleague can feel that way about the awards. We had nothing to do with the nominations or the winning, Africa voted. Actually it is not about the Kamoni family but about Kenya.”

ABBAS: I DON’T WANNA MOVE TO DENMARK

There is a new juicy morsel on the celeb-split between rap couple Abbas Kubaff and Baby Gangsta.
Abbas revealed that the separation might take longer to resolve now that Baby Gangsta – real name Natasha Ilum - has relocated to Denmark, her place of birth and where her parents live.
The Mo Fire rapper said, “She wants me to move to Denmark but I want to stay here.”
The musical couple said ‘I do’, twice last year; the first time was at a conventional garden wedding in Karen and a week later for their fans at KICC. They have separated less than 10 months after their November 14 vows.

ABBAS AND BABY GANGSTA SEPARATE

The celebrity marriage between rappers Abbas Kubaff and Baby Gangsta is on the rocks. The couple has separated less than ten months after their November 14, 2008, vows.
The Angabanga rapper let out the news during the K-Nel Kenyawood Tour Concert at the Carnivore on Saturday.
When asked where Baby Gangsta was, he said: "We are not together anymore, these things happen."
This cames after the couple exchanged vows twice. the first time was in a conventional garden wedding in Karen and later for their fans at KICC. The second nuptials were carried out at the Ghetto Radio’s Serious Request. Here, the stations presenters stayed in a glasshouse at KICC and went without food for six days to raise awareness and funds for the IDPs.

Baby Gangsta to launch album in Denmark!

Kenya’s female rapper Baby Gangsta plans on launching her maiden album away from home, in Denmark. Her hubby, Abbas Kubaff revealed that she would be launching her album in Denmark first before she does it in Kenya. Because, “She has her own market over there so she will launch it there and then do it in Kenya a little later.”

Channel O’s Emcee Africa auditions are on!

If you’re in possession of some superior freestyle, battling and performance skills and live in Kenya then be sure to take part in the Channel O Emcee Africa II auditions.

These take place on Saturday 6 June at Club Clique [Baricho Road] in Nairobi and the judges on the day will be Mwafrika from Ghetto Radio, Nazizi and Abass (Doobeez) with G Money from Homeboyz Radio joining regular Emcee Africa II host, Lee Kasumba in overseeing the event.

Registration takes place from 8:00am and auditions begin at 13:00 with all Emcee Africa II wannabes urged to be on time if they want to secure a place in the line-up. The heat event kicks off at 21:00 until late.

Aside from bringing top-drawer freestyle, battling and performance skills, entrants must also bring a self-penned piece with them which they will adapt to the beats provided by Emcee Africa II organisers.

Emcee Africa II is intent on finding talented men AND women who have what it takes to become Africa’s number one Emcee. This leaves the field open for anyone to win the $10 000, 00 prize money AND jump on the hottest track of ’09 by collaborating with African Hip Hop Royalty.

Five countries are taking part in Africa’s rawest hip-hop talent competition - South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya will all be eyeing the ultimate crown during the 13-episode series.

Country eliminations will produce finalists from South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya and then the judges hand over to the public to choose – through online and SMS voting - just who will represent their country in the finals.

This was during the MTVbase press meeting calling for artistes to submit their music videos.
Nazizi revealed that she gave one puppy called Picasso to Prezzo as a wedding present.

At the press conference held on Tuesday, Zain’s corporate communications director Mike Okwiri, MTV Networks sales manager Lisa Amenya and singer Nameless urged the music industry players to hand in their videos to beat the June 30 deadline for the MTVbase Africa Music Awards.
This move was in a bid to ensure that the Kenyan acts have their music on circulation on MTVbase so that they have a better chance to get nominated for the MAMAs that will take place on October 20 at Kasarani as well as ensuring that the number of Kenyan acts that get nominated are higher that last year.
