KIM KARDASHIAN FOR NIGERIA'S VALENTINE CONCERT

Africa’s R&B king and super entertainer Darey Art Alade has announced a major addition to his forthcoming “Love…Like A Movie” concert holding on Sunday February 17 – and it’s Kim Kardashian.

The globally famous reality TV superstar widely known and admired, worldwide, for her role in E! Network’s reality TV series “Keeping up with the Kardashians” will be jetting off to Nigeria.

Kardashian will join Darey, Soul Muzik acts Zaina and Moeazy, as well as other Nigerian music superstars Psquare, 9ice, 2face Idibia, Flavour, Iyanya, Praiz, Timi Dakolo, Waje and Ice Prince for an unforgettable evening of music, dance and drama in celebration of love and lovers. South African group Jozi who worked with Darey on the remix of the hit track ‘Asiko’ are also on the bill.

In a statement issued this morning in Lagos, Darey says “I’m more than happy that Kim Kardashian is joining us for this first-of-its-kind concert. Millions of Nigerians follow Kim on her different shows, especially “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, and we thought it’d be a good idea to have her co-host “Love…Like A Movie” with me.”

Visiting Nigeria for the first time, Kardashian will co-host the concert with Darey, and join the R&B king for an exclusive VIP pre-event dinner to be attended by Platinum ticket holders.

“Love…Like A Movie” is theatrical valentine concert, produced by Soul Muzik as an exhibition of performance varieties, using the interpretation of powerful emotions, music, cross-culture dance and acrobatic performances, lights, moving images and customized sets. Apart from Dare’s friends and collaborators from her and abroad, the concert will also feature The KITONB Project, an extreme theatre company from Italy, whose electrifying aerial maneuvers and choreography will touch the soul.

The event will be produced by Soul Muzik and directed by Angelo Bonello, who says “organic emotions and technology have never been fused in this way, to achieve an event no one will want to forget in a hurry.” Mr. Bonello arrived Nigeria with a 40-man crew last week, as pre-production kicked off at Eko Hotel Convention Centre.

“Love… Like A Movie” will hold at The Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites on February 17, 2013. Sponsored By First@Arts, Fayrouz, LIRS and Soul Muzik, the concert is the first in a series of events under the “Darey Presents:” catalogue.
