The show that gave the political elite sleepless nights will be back hitting your screens real soon. XYZ, the puppet show that lampooned the political class in it’s first season will be back on air on Citizen TV soon as shooting resumed this month January.
Royal Media’s Managing director Wachira Waruru confirmed that the XYZ team will begin shooting early January and “it will have much more episodes that the 14 it had last season.”

From Barack Obama to Osama bin Laden the first season did not spare anyone even the much-feared first lady. This time round cartoonist Gado revealed in a recent interview that there would be new subjects. Without pointing fingers, you might just be seeing one of the very best president dancers from down south, Zuma doing the diski dance. "Maybe we can do a brief swap – an Obama for a Zuma," Gado told American paper Guardian.
After the conclusion of the first season the show was featured in a number of international press like CNN, Variety Magazine and most recently on the Guardian.
