Kenyan designer Musa Omusi hand-painted the t-shirt that Brazilian super model Gisele Bündchen wore at a UN worldwide climate change campaign function.
The event that went down early this month saw Giselle take up her role as a UNEP Goodwill Ambassador at the ceremony to help the agency raise awareness and inspire action to protect the environment.
Musa said the t-shirt took him a day to paint and so far there are only 20 of them. Musa who works as at a graphic design firm on Mombasa road said he is honoured that UNEP chose him for the job.
“The idea to have the t-shit worn by Gisele was suggested but I did not think it would happen,” he said, “It’s an honour for me and I appreciate the exposure I have gotten as an artist.”
