HOMEBOYZ TO LAUNCH ARTISTE AGENCY

Entertainment house, Homeboyz will soon be launching and artiste agency to be headed by event organiser Situma Jones.
The agency dubbed VAT - Value Added Talent - will be a booking agency of choice for most musicians and entertainment practitioners in Kenya.
So far the acts signed up include Abbas Kubaff, Allan Aaron, Amani, Atemi Oyungu, Avril, Big Pin, Bobby Mapesa, Cannibal, Chizi, Collo, Daddy Owen, DNA, Eko Dydda, Eric Waninaina, Habida, Juacali, Longombas who are based in the UK and Marya among others.

DNA ANNOUNCES HE HAS QUIT BOOZE

The Banjuka star, DNA, has gone public to announce that he is off booze forever.
At the recent artiste launch of Kiss TV the rapper said, “Its been about three months now and life feels...like life. God has really intervened in all the madness and accepting His presence got me on track. I remember buying my first drink when I was 12 and I’ve been at it pretty much since. Growing up, the concept of being cool was defined by doing what grown-ups did and that was the beginning. Popular culture doesn’t like showing the flipside of the drinking and the drugs. Kenyan youth are dying from cheap liquor. I've travelled around the country over the last few years and I tell you, it’s an epidemic.”

Is DNA dating Linda Muthama?

Unlike the States where celebrity couples are the norm, in Kenya two celebs seeing each other is still a big deal. Celeb couples Nameless and Wahu, Abbas and Baby Gangsta are now joined by Linda Muthama and DNA. The two have reportedly been seeing each other in secret for the past two months. A Word Is snitch spotted the couple in Mombasa about two weeks ago. When reached for comment however DNA refused to answer any questions about their relationship but revealed, “I was working in Mombasa that weekend.” Linda was unavailable for comment by the time we went to press.
