recognizes the importance of this area of new media and is working on
establishing the Animation Expo as a leading forum where artistes are able to
showcase their work, network within the media industry and with financiers and also
receive information to build their business skills.
A number of
educational institutions have begun to include animation as part of the courses
that they offer, indicating the interest of the youth in this exciting area of
the media.
The key target for the expo includes investors, distributors, corporate companies, content acquisition managers (from broadcasting houses) students, creative industry professionals and those interested in local content.
