Channel O Nominees, P Unit Set To Release New "Chart Buster"!

Popular Kenyan group P-Unit, are set to release a new song next week after the success of their 2 songs “You Guy”& “Mobimba” which has topped the charts for months on end and has been nominated in two categories in the prestigious Channel O Awards due to held on 30th November in South Africa.

The group made up of Gabu, Frasha and Boneye, has featured on top of the charts since they released their first song “Si Lazima” in 2007 has also been nominated in the Most Gifted East Africa Category.

Member of the group Bon’Eye said the song will be a pleasant surprise for their fans, “We wanted to treat our fans to something different to tell them thank you for standing by us since we started for the support and spreading the L.O.V.E”

The group is currently on a countrywide tour as part of Niko na Safaricom Live campaign that was launched in June and will end in February 2014 and are also involved in various CSR activities under the Niko Na Safaricom campaign in various parts of the country Besides the Safaricom concerts, they have also had international concerts in USA and will be going to Dubai in a few weeks.

The group is currently finalizing on their second album named Punit (Wagenge hao tena) which features the songs “You Guy”, "Mobimba”among other hits songs which have been instant Hits across Africa.
