Jua Cali will headline the Kenya Cup final slated for Saturday 23 February at the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani.
The concert is sponsored by Dasani entered into a Ksh 4 million sponsorship package with the Kenya Rugby Union.
The partnership sees Dasani become the official water sponsor for the Kenya Rugby Union's national teams.
Speaking while accepting the cheque at a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel on Tuesday morning, the KRU's Honorary Treasurer Gabriel Ouko thanked Coca-Cola for their gesture, saying, " The Relationship with Coca-Cola and Dasani has gone on for a few years. We at the KRU appreciate the support. The sport can't develop without these kinds of partnerships. We are grateful. Don't get tired of partnering with us. A brand like yours can associate with a brand like Kenya Rugby. This is partnership is of mutual benefit to both parties," Ouko concluded.
Patrick Pech,Managing Director of Nairobi Bottlers said in his remarks,"Dasani has been heavily involved with rugby over the past few years, partnering with two Kenya Cup sides, Quins and Nakuru.The year 2013 is a critical year for Kenyan fifteens rugby, particularly with the Confederation of African Rugby Division 1A championships looming in the horizon. We have no doubt that Kenya can eventually qualify for the Rugby World Cup, we will support you."
