GET READY FOR DETS ON THE BEHIND THE SCENES FOR CHANNEL O AWARDS

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of Africa’s hottest music awards, the Channel O Music Video Awards?

For the very first time viewers will get a sneak peak at how some of the artists prepare for their big appearances on the show on OMVA Awards Journal.

A lot of work goes into producing an awards show and more often than not the most dramatic incidents happen backstage. The OMVA Awards Journal gives audiences a bird’s eye view into how the artists prepare, hang out together and get ready for a big awards evening.

Tune in at 10pm on Friday 23 November on GOtv to see how some of the artists calm down or gear up before the big showcase.

Also, during every awards show there are always fashion hits, misses and “what was she/he thinking!” moments. Channel O VJ Denrele hosts OMVA Fashion File, another first for the channel. Joining him on the fashion panel is: Eku, a model and actress from 53 Extra, Vimbai, Africa Magic Entertainment Star Gist co-anchor and Boogy, stylist to many African stars. Together they look at who brought their fashion A-game to the awards’ red carpet and who didn’t.

Making guest appearances on the show are Channel O Music Video Awards nominee and one of Uganda’s superstars Navio, Nigerian artist, actor and record label boss Lynxxx and SA’s new artist Sphum.

Watch OMVA Fashion File this Sunday 25 November at10:30pm. It will be shown after the re-screening of the 9th Annual Channel O Music Video Awards at 8pm. Channel O is available GOtv channel 70 and on DStv channel 320.
