JOHNNY GILL ALL SET TO ROCK NAIROBI THIS SATURDAY AT THE TUSKER LITE LOUNGE EXPERIENCE

Tusker Lite, the lead sponsors and organizers of the forthcoming 'Discover the Tusker Lite lounge experience with Johnny Gill' have confirmed that plans are all set for a successful event.

The event, which is set for Saturday September 8 at the Carnivore Grounds, will see the New Edition lead man Johnny Gill entertain RnB lovers to previous and new music in his recently released sixth studio album "Still winning".

East African Breweries Limited Kenya Marketing Director Caroline Ndungu says Johnny Gill is one of several artists lined up for events that will be hosted by the Tusker Lite brand this year.

"It's about good music, a great environment, a good time with friends and good fun and that is what the Tusker Lite experiences promises."

"Tusker Lite is the ideal beer of choice for all easy going occasions which is in line with the experiences we have been delivering starting with Donell Jones, Joe Thomas and now Johnny Gill. His music is easy, relaxing and laid back; exactly what Tusker Lite represents - easy going," added Ms Ndungu.

Johnny Gill is expected to jet into Nairobi on the evening of Friday September 7, and will hold a press conference at the Sankara hotel on Saturday, before the night lounge experience at the Carnivore, in an event that has been dubbed a "cozy affair". In line with promoting local talent ,recently crowned winner of this years Tusker Project Fame Ruth Masese will curtain raise for Johnny Gill.

Tusker Lite Brand Manager Faith Nyambura said the  'Discover the Tusker Lite experience' lounge event is intended to be more of an experience as opposed to concert, in tandem with the Tusker Lite kind of drinker who is easy going, has a true enthusiasm for life, a good sense of humour and a positive outlook on things.

"An easy drinking experience is: enjoying a fulfilling lifestyle and relaxing with friends after a day's work, over a cold bottle of Tusker Lite," noted Ms Nyambura

Tickets are currently on sale for Sh3000 at the Carnivore Restaurant, Nakumatt (Junction, Mega, Westgate, Lifestyle and Village Market), selected Dormans cafes, Melabloom and Capital FM offices.
