Blu*3 join Angelina Jolie in fight against trafficking

Ugandan girl group Blu*3 have joined big American showbiz personalities Angelina Jolie and Ricky Martin as well as British actress Emma Thompson to fight Human trafficking. The campaign entails mobilising people against illegal immigration and human trafficking. The three pop divas, Lee, Jaqui and Mya are the first African music group to be named goodwill ambassadors for the International Organisation of Migration (IOM).
Blu*3 are set to perform at international music festivals in Sweden, the US, Dubai and the UK as part of their role. They will also go on an anti-illegal immigration and anti-slavery tour which will feature Kenya’s Nameless, Burundi's Kidumu and Tanzania's TID. To commemorate their achievement, Blu*3 have released Fly Away, a song about the evils of human trafficking. As the soundtrack of the upcoming IOM documentary, the song will be aired on radio and TV stations worldwide.
