On Saturday, former long time girlfriend of Kenyan football star McDonald Mariga got engaged to a rich Rwandese tycoon.
Ariane Umutoni said 'Yes' to her fiance only identified as Phil in a grand traditional ceremony hosted in Kigali.
The Rwandan beauty jetted in three of her Kenyan friends, whom she met during her stay in Nairobi, for the weekend celebrations.
The date of the wedding is yet to be announced but word has it that it will be soon since she is reported to be pregnant.
Ariane and Mariga dated for seven years before the relationship finally went south in 2008.
During their tumultuous on-off-on again relationship, the couple was media shy. It was last reported that the baby faced Rwandese beauty had moved out of the home they shared in Ngong after they broke up.
Sources claimed that the locks of the house have been changed and she had to also return the car keys for the car she was driving.
Apparently the couple had an exchange on Facebook shortly after her eviction from the Ngong residence.
