She described the song as one "that is dear to my heart as I have been through enough to write a song like this. I release it to all to show that we can all over come anything with God by your side.
Adding, "It has been a long and hard year and how else to end the year with a song like SUPERWOMAN! Because after all I've gone through I have come out a SUPERWOMAN!"
She posted on her Youtube page, "#DearSuperwoman even in pain she stands up. Even in sadness she smiles. Even in fatigues she hustles! A superwoman always overcomes and you will never know by how much!"
