Penya Africa's Sauti Academy is delighted to invite you to a music festival dubbed Finesse unleashed at the Michael Joseph centre (Safaricom House) on Friday and Saturday 27th and 28th July.
Finesse Unleashed, a two-day affair kicks off on Friday from 7-10pm. The evening concert will mark the long awaited graduation of two of Sauti Academy students. Mel and Isha will be unleashing their musical poise in a live performance of their own compositions. Eight other Sauti Academy students will be opening for this unique duo, also with a collection of their own arrangements rich in variety of inspirations and sounds.
Saturday's concert from 2-5pm, will present the latest talented lot of musicians just three months into the program. To mark the end of their first term, the Sauti Academy students will showcase their talent through an extraordinary package of own compositions and covers, all displaying a vivacious musical group ready to add more life into Kenya's sprouting contemporary music scene.
