MISS WORLD KENYA UPLIFTS JIGGER CAMPAIGN WORLD WIDE



Miss World Kenya 2010, Natasha Metto, who represented Kenya in the 60th edition of the Miss World Pageant, returned home from China a triumphant beauty queen after shedding light on the Anti Jigger campaign.
Natasha was selected as one of the top 25 girls at the pageant with 120 countries represented. She won the Miss World Beauty With A Purpose 2010 title becoming the first Kenyan in the pageants history to win the coveted title. Beauty With A Purpose is one of the 5 fast track events that automatically “forwards” and guarantees it’s winner a spot in the semi-finals.

Natasha joined hands with Ahadi Kenya for her Beauty with a Purpose in the fight against the jigger menace which has affected many children in Kenya. Her powerful presentation showing the effects of jiggers on children in Kenya won the hearts of the judges and earned her first place.
Natasha hopes to continue in her campaign to enrich the lives of children through her reign as Miss World Kenya 2010. She will Join former Miss World beauty queen Cecelia Mwangi in the campaign.
