On Friday night, Dan ‘Chizi’ Aceda proved to the large audience that converged at the Kenya National Museum why he is the crown prince of benga.
Chizi launched his second album Benganology backed by Doris Onyango and Dela. Like he promised he delivered the ‘music of the gods’ with a mix of benga, kapuka and Afro-fusion.
To prove his point Chizi fused benga into Michael Jackson’s hit Human Nature and Neyo’s RnB single So Sick.
Other acts that supported Chizi at the launch and are also featured in the album included Eric Wainaina, Sanaipei Tande, Chris Adwar and the Villagers band.
