African top group, Sauti Sol is nominated as Best African Act at the upcoming 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), making them Kenya’s first group to be recognised by the prestigious MTV global music ceremony.
The Kenyan group Sauti Sol is up against fellow African music giants: Davido (Nigeria), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Toofan (Togo) and Goldfish (South Africa), in this hotly contested category.
Sauti Sol is set to represent Kenya and East Africa at 2014 MTV EMA ceremony that will take place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow Scotland, on 9th November.
They will be joining a host of other international music acts and nominees including Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, One Direction, among others.
Voting for Sauti Sol as Best African Act at 2014 MTV EMA doesn’t require any sort of identification or procedure.
