Octopizzo And Diamond To Star In Coke Studio Africa Episode 2

This weekend’s episode of Coke Studio Africa is set to be very exciting as it will feature Kenya’s Octopizzo doing a track called “Amio”.

Diamond from Tanzania will also double up with HHP yet again to perform the track “Temptation”.

Lady Jaydee is also set to appear in this episode performing “Joto hasira” and finally Uganda’s rock band Qwela are set to do the track “Rail On” originally by the Legendary Papa Wemba, with Nigeria’s Waje.

The much anticipated Coke Studio Africa show that launched last week at an exclusive red carpet event, had a successful start after the first episode premiered. The episode had legendary artist Salif Keita from Mali where he performed his hit song “Africa” with Lady Jaydee from Tanzania.

Other artists in the show included MI from Nigeria who did a track with South Africa’s HHP called “African rapper number 1”, Our very own Miss Karun and Boddhi Satva from the Central African republic who did a fusion of the song “Life” and Kenya’s Just a band who did a mash up of their track “Huff and puff” with Tumi from South Africa.

The show includes various behind the scenes moments including rehearsals and artists’ interviews which will enable viewers to see the Coke Studio experience. Fans can be able to access content from the show on the Coke Studio Africa website.
