CHURCHILL LIVE IS BACK

Picking up from where Churchill Live show left off in 2009, Laugh Industry brings back the rib –cracking, witty comedy and talk show hosted by the King of Comedy Churchill HIMSELF.
Churchill Show will be a weekly event aimed at entertaining and educating all Kenyans on current affairs and boasts at its ability to host high profile personalities from all over Kenya.
"This show is coming back bigger and better with more pomp and glamour" says Dan Ndambuki famously known as Churchill. He also stated that the re-launch of the show is timely keeping in mind the political situation in the country. "This show will aim to challenge Kenyans to become better in all aspects of life be it political, social or even economical."
The show will still retain its appeal to the family by having Toto's corner. It will also continue to appeal to the core Kenyan psyche by featuring indigenous local chart busting musical acts.
The new differentiation elements here will be that Churchill as a character takes a more regal role of being an overall host and leaving room for upcoming comedians to become giants in the industry. There will also be an introduction of various new acts and segments in the show.
In addition Churchill Show will attempt a quarterly County Edition in the 4 major towns i.e. Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret and Nyeri, bringing humor from the grass roots and discovering the talent in these areas.
Churchill Show intends to grow into a Pan-African show, interviewing more prominent African figures to give it a cross the boarder appeal.
The show will air on NTV on Thursdays from 8pm to 9pm. On Mondays from 7.30pm NTV will be airing the Churchill Raw which will be a 30 minute show of the various acts that will not make it into the Thursday shows.
'Churchill Live' used to be on NTV from 2007  to 2009 and it received numerous awards, mentions from peers, corporate, public and government agencies for the role it played in the public psyche. These include: Kalasha Awards for the Best Comedy Program in 2009 as well as the Best TV programs while Churchill received CHAT Awards 2010 as the Teeniez Role Model.
