Following the successes of his 2012 chart topping singles “Settle Down” and “Living in Glory” award- winning Canada based reggae singer Tony Anthony continues to ignite music lovers with his latest single “Simple Girl.
The track was produced by Adrian Hanson on the Donsome Records label, is already achieving significant radio airplay. It is featured on the Amore rhythm project.
“Simple Girl” represents the third lover’s rock single by Anthony released this year and is predicted to be one of his biggest hit yet.
“This is the type of song a lot a people will be attracted to, because it deals with a topic that most persons have experienced some time in their life. I lived this story hence the strong vocal emotions one hears listening to this song”.
Tony Anthony knows the power of a love song all too well. His 2010 hit single, “Torn” accumulated a veritable worldwide fan base in less than 12 months of radio airplay. The song spent two weeks in the number-one spot on Richie B’s Top 25 Reggae Singles Chart in Jamaica; it maintained a top-ten position for more than four months on the Foundation Radio Network’s Reggae Singles Charts, both in New York and South Florida; and it also garnered lengthy radio-chart positions in England, The Netherlands, Canada, Italy, Virgin Islands and Kenya.
The Amore rhythm which is available on Itunes is the latest from the Adrian Hanson-led Donsome Records. It also features songs from Ginjah, Sizzla, Turbulence, Lady Lex, Erasto, Khago, and Nature.
