According to sources, there are two investors looking to buy into the company, "one Italian businessman and the other is a South African online investors company who have been engaged with owners of the Kenyan Sports marketing and developments company for possible buy out."
michezoafrika.com is a product of michezoafrika Limited,A Kenyan Sports marketing,consultancy and development company managed by two brothers Walter and Dennis Machio.
The two are former sportsmen with Dennis Machio having been a premier league player and weight behind the rapid growth of the kenyan news outlet and online sports content developers.
When reached for comments the Machios could neither accept nor deny the claim of a buy out.
With Dennis laughing off the claims saying,"that is a good rumour ,but surely these are very good signs of positive growth and we appreciate the far God has brought us over the short period.On behalf of our team I assure that we will continue dedicating our energy towards serving the growth of Kenyas rich history of sports."
The website was voted Best Original Kenyan Sports News Website during BAKE awards and also awarded by Kenya ICT board for contributing towards transformation of lives through online content.
