Kenya's celebrated band Sauti Sol is back in Kenya after concluding a successful one-month tour in Europe. On Saturday the 14th of July, the band made their debut performance at Colours of Ostrava, Czech Republic's biggest music festival. Their performance at one of the festival's main stages saw over 8,000 fans enjoy their vibrant, melodious and catchy sounds fused in their soulful harmonies, guitar riffs and drum rhythms.
The international music festival that ran between 12th-15th July, also saw among other world stars Hugh Masekhela and American rocker Alanis Morisette perform along the Kenyan ambassadors of afro-pop. Sauti Sol also performed at Karlovy Vary International film festival in front of an audience of about 1000 people, and also at a chivalric street party in Prague set right under a bridge by a river.
The first physical copies of 'Sauti Sol EP' in Kenya will be on sale at Blankets & Wine August 5th edition, where the band will also be making their first performance at home since their return.
