NAIROBI, GET READY FOR JOHNNY GILL

Johnny Gill, 46, is coming to Nairobi in the first week of September courtesy of Tusker Lite. He is due to perform on September 8 at the Carnivore Grounds.
It will be a cosy affair under the title of Tusker Lite Experience – NOT a concert. It comes just a few months since the release of his latest album 'Still Winning'.
He was part of the famed group New Edition, but is best known for tracks like 'My, My, My' and 'Fairweather Friend', among several others.
His music genre fits into the popular New Jack Swing.
Tickets to the event will retail at Sh3,000 and will be on sale starting Thursday evening at the Carnivore, Nakumatts (Junction, mega, Westgate, Lifestyle and Village) and Capital FM offices.
Gill is the third artist to be invited by Tusker Lite, one of Kenya's newest beers, after Donell Jones and Joe Thomas.
More than 3,000 attended Joe's concert at the Bomas of Kenya in March this year.
His twitter handle is  @RealJohnnyGill
