KENYAN SCREENING OF BOB MARLEY FILM CANCELED

The Bob Marley documentary that was to be screened in Nairobi at the Safaricom's MJ Centre by Screen On The Green on August 27 has been canceled.
Dubbed Marley, it is said to be a riveting two-and-a-half-hour documentary biography directed by Kevin Macdonald. It showcases the life of the reggae legend.
The organizers of the screening said in a statement: "Sorry guys! We had to cancel the screening of this film due to unforeseen circumstances. We truly regret having to do this and hope that we can bring it back for you sometime soon."
Marley has been described as the definitive life story of the musician, revolutionary, and legend, from his early days to his rise to international stardom. The film features rare footage of the late musician, as well as exclusive interviews with the Marley family and others who knew him best.
