Gospel singer Emmy Kosgei who jetted back into
Nairobi this week after a show in London also collected music awards she
had won in
2011.
Emmy, famed for the hit Taunet Nelel was presented with the
Overall Best Female African Artist 2011 for the London based Africa Gospel
Music Awards.
The Kenya High Commissioner to the UK Ephraim Ngare
presented Emmy with her award as well as others that were won by Kenyan
nominees like Daddy Owen and Milele FM.
The singer was also set to perform at the Christ Church, in
Virginia Water, Surrey last week during her visit. She thrilled the full house of enthusiast that
comprised of Kenyans, Briton and Singhs.
According to Ukentv.com during the interactive session,
where Emmy was asked questions by the public, one fan asked about her status,
if she is single.
Emmy said, “Yes, single but taken."
