ARE THE LEADERS OF PLACENTA PARTY BROKE?

Controversial personalities Joseph Hellon, Esther Adongo Arunga and Quincy Timberlake seem to be looking for work in the hotel industry as resident entertainers.
According to an email sent out to an event manager of a city hotel by Quincy, the trio have a band dubbed Hupostasis, a Greek word translated "substance”.
The band also incorporates keyboard guru Aaron Rimbui and two unknown acts Chris Okana and Brian "the Dog Meal". Ex-TV anchor and party VP aspirant, Esther is listed as the MC.
The email in our possession has a number of grammatical errors. It reads: “The band has been featured with many national touring artists including: Louis Armstrong (sic), Hugh Masekela, Model Mouse and Manu Dibango. The band is also very busy in the recording studio. Five recordings from the jazz studies department have been recommended for KORA nominations and received four-star reviews from DOWNBEAT magazine.”
The email also quotes how much they charge and even offer to be the resident band. “Our payment is usually befitting (sic) our music but for now, we'll accept Sh100,000/- per concert (O.N.O). Or we can charge at the gate. As long as we're advertised by the hotel, we're huge clientelle arena (sic). We attract clients due to the celebrity music names and also in entertainment industry. You'll be amazed at the huge crowd at your hotel.”
