NAMELESS IS BARMAN IN NEW BEER CAMPAIGN
Nameless took on a role as the barman at EABL’s Club 2010 during the unveiling of a new responsible drinking campaign last Friday.
The Salari hitmaker, who is the face of EABL’s Responsible Drinking campaigns, officiated over the ‘Space-it-out’ drive by serving the patrons at Club 2010 with drinks, as well as water.
The new campaign will see EABL-commissioned scouts storming selected pubs and randomly handing out water.
“It is important for people to get this right. This is because of accidents,” Nameless said, adding that his surviving a near brush with death taught him how important responsible drinking is. “Spacing your drinks out with water is responsible drinking.”
EABL corporate affairs director Ken Kariuki said, “The Responsible Drinking campaign has had a successful run and it’s time for taking it to the next level by vocalising the importance of spacing one’s drinks with water.”
Nameless will be spearheading the ‘Space-it-out’ campaign that starts in Nairobi and Mombasa before rolling out to other towns. However, he will not be taking the behind the counter role.
