DADDY COOL LEGEND FOR CHARITY SHOW IN KENYA
One of the female dancers from the 1970s German-based disco sensation Boney M is coming to Kenya for a charity show.
According a proposal to various coporates by the organizer Alishan Enterprises, Marcia Barret - one of the four original members of the group - will lead the new Boney M band in a concert scheduled to take place later this month at the Carnivore grounds. Some of the hit songs by the group include Daddy Cool and By the Rivers of Babylon.
Also expected to be on tour with Boney M is Slum Dog Millionaire sound track singer Sukhwinder Singh. Sukhwinder’s song Jai Ho plays at the end of the Oscar-winning movie.
The proceedings from the concert will go into supporting Kenya Red Cross.
