Prezzo back to work at 6th Annual free concert

The King of bling’s first official public appearance after the past dramatic year will be at The 6th Annual ‘Look to The East-Free Live Concert’ on Easter Monday. Prezzo, who is now a father and husband has tried to steer clear of the public glare ever since his ‘no-camera wedding’ in December, 2008. According to the artiste list for the concert, he will be sharing a stage with Abbas, Ousmane, Juliani, Didge, Karma, Kaz, P-unit, Mejja, Jimwaat, Eric Wainaina and Kidum among others. These acts will be backed by both the Tutu band and the Villagers band.
The event, which was set up in 2004, aims at showcasing Eastland’s untapped talent alongside established artists whilst addressing issues facing the Eastland’s community and the country in general..
In 2006 the UN Habitat as an initiative in line with their Millennium Development Goals ideals and vision recognized the works of Live Concert. This year the show will be held at the Makongeni Sports Ground and is free of charge.
There will also be a tree planting session by the performers at the venue.
