Synopsis

Two mafia boyz (Alexandros Konstantaras and Thomas Tsaparas) take a forced holiday in Kenya, lying low while trouble blows over at home. With local contact, crook and gigolo Odongo (Sam Odoyo), the boyz set up R2 security and are employed to protect Odongo's new wife (Evelyn Kahungu) and wealthy step family.

Sidelined son Alex (Boniface Loppoh), who loathes his new step father, becomes suspicious that the R2 are not only there to offer security but are running some mysterious business…Things get worse for Alex when he falls for his stepfather's 'bad girl' assistant (Lydia Gitachu) while his beautiful sister (Helena Waithera) falls for one of the R2 hoods.


Challenges

The main challenges we had during the production of that film were: to find nice locations with swimming pools and big gardens, controlling fairly big crowds of people in particular scenes (wedding, swimming pool parties etc), gathering lots of girls to play as extras wearing only bikinis and struggling keeping the continuity of the scenes. The opening of the film had to be done out of the country in Europe (Greece) in order to give more authenticity to the film.

Quotes

Helena Waithera who acted on the film as the beautiful Jean who falls in love with one of the R2 hoods says about her experience " One of my greatest acting experiences, the actors were all well casted, everybody exhibited their roles perfectly, in general it was a fun shoot. I'm also looking forward to feature in part 2 of the film."

Boniface Loppoh who also acted in the film as the son of the family Alex who gets suspicious of the R2 Security says " Ive never acted in such a level but this film gave me an opportunity to explore some hidden talent I never knew I had. It also gave me the chance to brush shoulders with more experienced actors like Lydia Gitachu and Omosh from Tahidi High."
