Nokia and Slumcode are organising “The Grand Slum Fest” on Saturday 16th August 2008 at Daima Primary School, Huruma.
The event marks the official launch of Nokia Research Africa (NoRA) and the announcement of a partnership of NoRA with Slumcode for the project on music creation and consumption practices in low income communities.
If you saw it this was a great show for all the community, just recovering from the effects of the post election violence and the youth as the major victims and perpetrators,Slumfest offered a platform for expression, entertainment and focus into greater future development programmes.
