MARIGA: COME 2014 KENYA WILL BE IN THE WORLD CUP

Kenyan celebrity footballer McDonald Mariga has risen to fame thank largely to his move to Italian footie club Inter Milan. But what endears his most to his fans is the fact that he is a down to earth fellow.

On Saturday, July 10, Mariga attended a WASH United function at the training grounds of Our Kid FC at Mbagathi Road Primary School. The NGO event saw the icon hang out with the young players of Our Kid FC.
Our source says, “Mariga gladly attended the event and he made the day for many of the young boys who look up to him,” continuing, “He gave them advise and urged them to keep working hard to achieve their goals. It was easily the best day ever for most of the kids. And when the Kids asked him to take Kenya to the World Cup in Brazil in 2014, he made their day by saying he will do his best to ensure that Kenya features in the finals.”

MARIGA OPENS INVESTMENT ACCOUNT

Last week, Kenya’s football darling, MacDonald Mariga opened an account with the Bank Of Africa. We are reliably informed it’s an Investment account.
Contrary to what most people may think, Mariga has a smart head on his shoulders and is no spendthrift.
Yes, he bought a crimson red Hummer straight out of the showroom and is known from treating his boys to a night out to the tune of over Sh70,000, but Mariga also invests his money.
Our spies may have told us it’s an Investment account, but they also prudently left out how much will be or has already been deposited into the account.
Meanwhile, Mariga also offered the MD of the Bank Kwame Ahadzi his number 17, Inter Millan jersey.

FOOTBALL STAR DENNIS OLIECH’S LIFESTYLE WORRIES FAMILY MEMBERS

Word has it that, Dennis Oliech’s family is drawing comparisons between his and fellow football star McDonald Mariga, who plays mid field for Intermillan.
Sources close to the family claim they are concerned about the Auxerre striker’s ‘lack of planning for his future’.
“There have been many times immediate close family members have tried to get a sit down with Oliech to discuss about his future plans which include investing wisely and starting a family but he has managed to side step them,” a source who asked for anonymity told Word Is, adding, “Their biggest bone of contention is the way he spends his money and the company he keeps.”

“They wish he would settle down and invest wisely like Mariga,” said the source. On Saturday, one Mzee managed to talk to Oliech about the issues raised by his family members. For now it’s a wait and see if the talk will have any effect on the flamboyant striker.

MARIGA SHOOTS TV COMERCIAL

Kenyan football sweetheart McDonald Mariga was yesterday busy on the set of a commercial for an Insurance company.
My source was kidogo tight lipped about the details but revealed the shoot was at State House Road.
Mariga who just recently bought a Hummer is getting paid big moolah for the role he is playing on the TV commercial.
He was also appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the Copa-Coca-Cola under-17 tournament, which he featured in as a teenager.

MAN CITY SIGNS KENYA'S MCDONALD MARIGA FOR SH1BILLION!

It's official, me and Mariga are related. Dude will be joining Man City at a heffy fee of Sh1billion. Yes, yes, i know I'm no football enthusiasts but this is like big news.
Parma have accepted a Sh1billion offer for McDonald Mariga ahead of an imminent move to Premier League side Manchester City. Parma are now looking for an alternative midfielder to fill the void left by Mariga. "We hope to have him [Jimenez] by Monday," said Leonardi.
Inter Milan have also tracked Kenya international Mariga, but appear to have put off any move until the summer after taking Manuel Fernandes on loan from Valencia.
Mariga, 22, would be an alternative to Gago, who is keen to sign City only for Madrid to block his exit.
