Eastland based entertainment company Mwafaka Entertainment are shading off the myopic scope of the awards and are expanding this year’s nominees list to encompass the wider Nairobi. Speaking to Hot Secrets, the organizer and founder of the awards, Aaron ‘Didiero’ Kelly said, “This move is to show we know who we are and where we are from and now taking that knowledge further to include the rest of Nairobi. The move will include the fresh songs from the artiste that live and portray the Christian lifestyle as well as individuals making a difference for their communities and churches.”
Adding further, he said, “The nominees have to be personalities who make Christians proud and guys who push the Christian brand, Mwafaka Awards will appreciate those individuals.”
This year new categories have also been introduced they include Hit song of the year, TV personality, High school of the year, among others. The awards will take place August 13 at Chatter Hall Nairobi.
