KQ TO FLY IN PRINCE EYANGO FOR CAMEROONIAN FETE



Prince Ndedi Eyango, a leading African and Cameroonian artiste is set to jet into the country on Friday May 20 aboard a Kenya Airways flight from Doula, Cameroon.
Prince Eyango will be in Kenya courtesy of Kenya Airways in conjunction with the Association of Cameroonians living in Kenya who are a sponsoring his appearance as the chief guest at a Gala Dinner this Saturday May 21 at the Hilton Hotel from 7 pm.



The Annual Cameroonian Gala Dinner marks 39 years of re-unification of the French speaking and the English speaking regions of Cameroon. It also Marks the 51st anniversary of the country's independence.
“As a big supporter of African culture, art and music, Kenya airways is proud to be associated with Prince Eyango, a leading African musician”, commented Titus Naikuni, Kenya Airways, Group CEO and Managing Director.
Born Eyango Ndedi Eyango, he is popularly known by his stage name Prince Eyango and his You Must Calculate hit song released in 1987 and rated Number one record of the year all over Africa.
During the Saturday event, Prince Eyango is expected to make a guest appearance on stage and perform a few of his chart bursting hits of the 80s and 90s.



Prince Eyango moved to United States in 1993, where he has been based since. He has also been a producer and owns, Preya Music, a production company. In 2000, he was nominated for World music category at LA Weekly Music Awards. He has toured Africa, Europe and North America and last visited Kenya in 1991.
