The One Fine Day Film workshop program for 2012 is back.
This year again, the organisers of the workshop will provide instruction to
amateur filmmakers in various departments by professional filmmakers, as well
as the realization of a feature film as an on the job training that conveys
filmmaking in practice.
During the workshop a chosen group of talented young African
filmmakers will get in contact with professional filmmakers from all over the
world who are pleased to share their know-how and knowledge with them.
This collaboration gave rise to the successful feature film,
Soul Boy by Hawa Essuman. This year’s feature film shoot will take place in
October/November 2012.
The training will take place from June 18 to June 29 in
a location yet to be confirmed. 5-10 applicants will be chosen to take part in
training in various film department like directing, script writing, production,
camera, production design, sound design, editing and film music.
The One Fine Day Film workshop programme is a partnership
project between the One Fine Day Films, DW-Akademie and Ginger Ink.
