Ali Baba Group Founder, Jack Ma took some time off to join
Ministry of Tourism Cabinet Secretary, Hon. Najib Balala and United Nations
Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Secretary-General for a trip to
the iconic Maasai Mara.
Mr. Ma, who was accompanied by 30 Chinese Billionaires,
addressed the business community and students at the University of Nairobi on
the afternoon of Thursday the 20th of July.
East Africa has become an attractive investment destination
in recent years, owing to its improved business environment. According to Ernst
& Young's 2016 Africa attractiveness program, east African
countries recorded the highest share of Foreign Direct Investment in
Africa, achieving 26.3 percent of total projects.
