KAMBUA SAYS ‘I DO’ TO PASTOR MATHU




 
 
Gospel singer Kambua got hitched to pastor and businessman Jackson Mathu at a wedding garden at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club.
The couple exchanged their vows at a garden wedding overlooking the artificial lake at the golf course.


The well-guarded establishment kept the wedding ceremony exclusive and intimate yaani ndio gatecrashers wasi make way to the venue. However, the wedding party headed out to Ridgeways Garden where family and friends gathered for the afternoon programme.
The colour scheme of the wedding was accentuated by various shades of brown that matched the wedding invites. The cake was four tiered decorated with light red roses.

Kambua and Jackson were welcomed into the reception tent where they danced to traditional Kenyan tunes by Kayamba Africa. Jackson is said to be the head pastor at the Purpose Church that used to congregate at Panari Centre but moved it’s base to Westlands.
“I’m so excited and thank you for celebrating with us,” Kambua told the guests after the MC prompted her to say how she feels. While Jackson added: “I’m feeling married already”

Afternoon performances included Esther Wahome, Mercy Masika and coast act Marsha Mapenzi.
Esther who stood to perform Kuna Dawa advised Kambua, that “I know it is possible” to stay married and be happy.

She said, “I’m have been happily married for 16 years and I have 3 children. I want you Kambua to know that it is possible.”
Some of the guests included top gospel acts like singer Alice Kamande, NTV Cross Over 101 presenter Nancy Kihenia, producer SK Blue, model and dentist Amrit Kalsi and comedian Churchill among others.
